i noticed that they just stuck with 'live crude oil' when they quoted the chemical analyses for the SD well, but then they produced an upwardly revised volume for the field. I wonder if they are actually supposed to give us the actual data? Anyway, Since the volume estimate uses a qunatification of the density of the oil, something called the API-gravity figure, I reckon the API-gravity value of the oil (which divides it into light, medium, heavy crude etc) must have been more favourable than what they had estimated from other nearby fields before they drilled. This must be good for marketability of the oil. An API above 40 would be very nice. Is that right, any oil-heads?
