Yes, it would be ideal for all to destroy their weapons at the same time.
Funny thing is, those who become great in this world do it by leading by example, not cajoling others.
And there is no need to glorify those who die in wars.
If soldiers don't fight, there can be no wars.
I don't deny their motives or sense of honour or their sacrifice, but it has served us poorly.
If instead of encouraging or saying nothing, those with wisdom disuaded the young from their folly, it would be a better place.
Politicians might have to use their brains and cunning rather than free canon fodder.
Let's make it a rule that nation leaders lead and generals follow and the troops bring up the rear.
