You mention the following as real problems:

1. slight temperature rise - Well that has taken place many many many times in the history of the Earth. We have never had a period of constant flat temperatures. Its absolutely natural for temperatures to both rise and fall.

2. Erratic weather patterns - WOW that is a ripper. When was there ever a period in the history of the Earth that had perfect weather all over the world? Its a nonsense. The implication of that message is that if we halt the rise of CO2 we will have perfect weather worldwide! Its not going to happen.

3. droughts - Another gobsmacking concern here. Droughts have been with us since the start of time. Just look at the history of many many regions on Earth to see how drought come and go over wide areas. Australia has had many droughts in just the last 200 years and many before then. A halt in CO2 output won't stop any future droughts.

4. crop failures - How many of these have there been in the history of Earth? Millions of them. They have always been part of history and always will. Again we won't stop crop failures with a halt to CO2 production.

5. running out of fresh water - Again, that has been the fate of many many towns and regions over the history of mankind. Its not something new that has appeared in the last 40 years.

Try reading the history of human settlement over tens of thousands of years and you will see all of those things are a very normal part of life on Earth.

There is no perfect weather and temperature that descend on us at some mythical CO2 concentration. All of the above will be part of our day to day future regardless.

We should all be thankful for the increased greening of our planet since CO2 has been rising. I had always thought that Greenies like greening but it seems not!
