That's one of the great things about history. It shows us what happens when there are changes in the environment. E.g. temperature rise. We can see when there has been unusually warm temperatures where crops have failed . Essentially giving us a heads up on what will happen if we artificially warm the planet thanks to greenhouse gas emissions.

We can see the effects of running out of water and how that affects civilizations. All there in the history books.

Because of that knowledge we therefore know that if we continue the way we are going, we will likely induce or amplify many of these conditions. Thus affecting millions of people around the world.

It seems you don't believe rising CO2 levels will lead to man made climate change. Best you let the Prime Minister know then because he reckons it does. Just as do many, many organisations around the world including major oil companies.
