He is trying to sell a book so there is an obvious financial incentive.
Considering the amount of vague bs he is sprouting, maybe he hopes that people will buy the book in spite of it.
Forest fires. Not everyone agrees they are reducing.

He claims that warming is good. He uses the example of an ice cube in a glass to support his claim that sea level will not rise when talking about the Northern Ice Sheet melting. Of course he forgets to mention all the land based ice in the North and all the land based ice in Antarctica. He also forgets to mention the effect of all that ice reflecting heat back into space. And, then there's the minor detail of all the frozen tundra releasing methane ( 80 times CO2 greenhouse effect ) thanks to the warming .
Yes, I know these are minor details. Lol .
Also mentions the greening of these areas due to the warming. I'll take a stab that if Antarctica becomes warm enough for normal living, all those places around the equator won't be liveable. If that transition were to occur over a million years or so we probably wouldn't notice so much.
However, if it were to occur at a fast rate it would be most likely be devasting for humans. Considering that there has never been this many humans on the planet ever , he doesn't have any data to base that argument on.
But, the highlight for me was when the host exclaimed that Mars was warming and there are no humans there so therefore there can't be a link between man's emissions and climate change.
That's comedy gold right there !
