Awesome stuph pierogi.... love the energy and the instruments. I gathered they were telling a story and would have loved translation in subtitles. But the music and energy of the people exemplify your description perfectly.

I watched a couple more after this one and enjoyed them all. I've had a passion for world music for many years.

Was the "eastern bloc" Poland rural or urban? Industrial in the 70's? I'm personally quite limited in my physical travels, but I've read Solzhenistzyn and others from the Soviet era as well as Dostoyevski, Tolstoy and several others.

I'm intrigued if you would write a short tale or two from your history..... I'd like to understand where our paths cross too.
