Any announcement that is released is obviously reviewed by the ASX first before being made public and if they deem it to be price sensisitve it gets a nice little red exclamation mark. I didn't say that the company isn't allowed to say 'hey ASX, this bit's juicy"; rather that it is up to the ASX to decide what is price sensitive. Nothing stopping them highlighting, but nothing forcing them to either.
I get what you are saying and agree that the company should have promoted itself better there. Personally I would've rathered a separate announcement. Ultimately we don't have 100% yet and maybe it is part of the game being played?
