I could not agree more with your ‘bull’s eye’ retort to social divisions.
I recall the intensity of social scrutiny at the time.
I even went temporarily bluish in the face from too close an examination of the incriminating dress exhibit.

And I equally agree with Albert Einstein’s seminal observation
(no doubt backed by a wealth of scientific research) that:

“The only difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits.”

And so I think of J ‘Doubtsetts’ diminution of PIF.
And of a number of related entities.

Of course, I could be observing ‘in specie’, upgrading to ‘in principle’.

We better start leaning into final corner of PIF perilous road.
