but if you look back through the pandemic history, you'l find similar strategies used almost every time. quarantine to protect other towns/villages/cities, masking, social distancing, and when vaccination became available, national campaigns with a govt mandate.

but you're wrong about "thorough testing".... the mRNA carrier platform had been thoroughly tested over 20 years. the AZ vax was a "weakened" virus And had much more adverse events.
