Gillys - I think the TLS and WP analogy was flawed as you rightly noted.

I have 4 phones (myself, partner and two boys) on plans + 3 iPads (myself and two boys) also on plans + Bigpond ADSL2 + Foxtel Platinum + home line. Therefore, TLS score a bit of cash out of me every month. Even if I do nothing for a month (i.e. make no calls or use any data) I still pay the bill.

So I agree with your point - save for one thing - even if I can not use the four phones at once I am still paying.

Point is - for the comparison between TLS and WP to be of any practical use we would want WP customers signed up on monthly plans of fixed dollar amount for 1 or 2 years in duration. Would be nice but wont happen.
