Yes, indeed. They are everywhere in Cairns this Week. Go into the main shopping centre (for the air conditioning) and they almost outnumber the locals at the moment.

All age groups too - teenagers, to young 20/30 somethings, to parents, to what are obviously large family groups.
Some trendily dressed (mostly young and clearly, new middle class) to to others whose dress sense is very much a Chinese style, rather than a Westernised style (mostly the older generation).

Talking everywhere on their smartphones - would love to be able to know Chinese - so I could go up to them and recommend World Phone!!
