I think they are using Australia to get it perfect prior to worldwide release.
Better to go worldwide when all the bugs are ironed out. Though we should still be able to get a good idea of its popularity here from Aus figures. Watch how fast it's growing within this little 24 million island and use that as a guide to extrapolate to whatever portion of the worlds 7.5 billion might be interested in our app
