It certainly appears to be a greater uptake per capita, however that is only assuming that NZ overall app trends are similar to Australia, and that the same apps dominating the Australian market are also present at the same usage and spend rates in NZ, we won't really know until we see some comparitive sales figures from MGM.
But keeping an eye on it now and correlating to actual figures when they come will give us some insight for a more accurate early read in other markets.
Still itching to see how many are hiding under Xmas trees, hoping to see a substantial lift in app downloads Xmas day/boxing day. Although anyone with half a brain should be setting that up now. Still it'll be pleasing to see a large number of bozo's come out of the woodwork lol.
