i'd say at a rough guess that it was only irrational exuberance that drove it up.
comparitive lack of buying interest seems confirms this.

if i could, i certainly would not be buying any stock prior to the announcement; just because my analysis has prooven to be nothing short of astounding, in the face of strong opposition (optimisim).
