Well according to epidemiologists it already appears they were WRONG. Apparently instead of being clever their gamble with Australian lives & livelihoods is reprehensible:

1. Delta is alive and kicking and Omicron is NOT providing immunity against it - hospitalisations and deaths are rising.
2. The Omicron variant is less toxic than Delta but it's targeting younger people and they're suffering and some are even dying.
3. Widespread infections due to Omicron's transmissibility is unprecedented - it's dealt a body blow to normal life and economic activity.

So where's the explanation, the apology & the cunning plan for deliverance from Morrison & Perrottet?
