Hi Blurrt,
Its seems that a lot of the general discussion is pointing in the one direction for Meo and TS - it's an ambitious project and they must be excited about the Farm-in Partner who undoubtedly had a thorough examination of the complexities and challenges the TS Project will face.
As I stated last weekend it would have been fascinating to have been privy to some of the " between you me and the gatepost " - type conversations at the APPEA Conference!
I found an interesting article on the LNG Journal from Nov/Dec 2010--
http://www.lngjournal.com/portal/docs/NovDec%202010%20low%20res.pdf --
-- which gives an interesting comparison between the Shell Floating LNG solution vs the TSLNGP - be warned it is 3.6mb becuase of all the pretty pictures and ads but well worth the time to peruse for people to gain a better insight into the magnitude of just what Meo and parnter(s)
to be are planning to undertake.
As a layman I like the Methonal solution and it seems a logical and cost effective solution for for high CO2 fields which will appeal to governments trying to progress development of this region.
If Meo finish this journey as the vision states I won't need to bother be checking the SP on such a regular basis - ann. can't be far away..... interesting times just down the road!
Callent - appreciate your feedback.
