Michael - agree completely, its very hard not to feel fracked off (excuse pun) - these Councillors have made a complete mockery for the planning & approvals regime they are meant to oversee.

Share price may react short term negative, but will not head back to the pre-election prices. The conservative election was a game changer for the national regulatory backdrop - they want to see these vast natural resources unlocked (with suitable protections in place).

In medium term Council has probably done Cuadrilla a favour - unfortunately will mean more patience required - but should result in approvals without some of the more ridiculous conditions Council would have imposed, and likely a substantial award of costs for the unreasonable delays and obstructionist nonsense employed this past 12 months.

Sit tight my friend & focus elsewhere for a while, this stock is something like 82%+ held by top 20 shareholders, so not highly liquid trading stock, but this same factor will very much work in your favour down the track when people clamouring to get in when appeals successful.
