The Kimberley regional Economic Development Corporation (KRED) is an offshoot of the Kimberley Land Council (KLC). KRED is run by the former Ceo of the KLC.

Seeing as the KLC have been involved in the Determination process from day 1, on behalf of the indigenous people, you would think the Judge will listen politely but unless it is something entirely new and important, that was never brought up during previous hearings, it may not make any difference to the outcome of the appeal, as this has already been decided.

One reason we have these hearings at the Native Title Tribunal, is to overcome these never ending legal 'disputes' dragging on for years and years and years. We live in a Capitalist society, where mineral exploration is allowed, within clearly determined guidelines. Even Communist (China) and former Communist (Russia, Ukraine, former USSR) countries embrace mineral exploration!! - (hence the newly created 'Russian Billionaires' who made their money on oil exploration and now seem to enjoy buying up EPL soccer teams i.e. Chelsea Football team and others).

This is a legal process and it reaches a legally enforceable (on all parties) decision which is why a Judge is in charge - a decision which has already been reached, I might add (this period being only for objections not previously raised ......a sort of 'extra time' period, to continue the soccer analogy).
