It is good news an extension, however the inference from the article that Lynas tailings are radioactive is deliberately misleading. I hope in the announcement that Amanda and the team will still push to operate without restrictions and educate Malaysia to finally see Lynas as an unparalleled asset moving forward.
The US also need to commit to fast track a Lynas plant, rather than merely jawboning if they are genuine about their desire to friendshore rare earths and negate china dependency
