It’s a unique situation. The new license conditions were added during the previous license renewal, 3 years ago. And it was purely for political reasons at that time. No different to the current situation to retain those conditions.
Considering the current Minister appears to have a negative biased towards Lynas, I don’t think it’s going to help the companies case. But then, it might not matter regardless.
Personally, I don’t see the license conditions being removed. At best, Lynas may get an extension of time to shut down C&L.
Important to remember that this is simply IMHO. I may be totally wrong, so don’t get too hung up on it.
