ai20: To answer your question regarding the writedown of assets. As I understand it, Sigma have been offered $900m for the Pharmaceutical division. The book value of assets is in the order of $1.12b to $1.17b, hence the need to writedown the value of those assets by $220m to $270m. So, this is Sigma's way of moving towards accepting Aspen's offer. Personally, I would prefer it if Sigma's shareholder's voted against the sale as I think the pharmaceuticals has the potential to be a great money earner.
