Thanks Mauombo, I must have been dreaming of a more realistic amount - the aim was to double it: ie
President Biden pushed for an increase in the minimum wage from $7.25 to $15 per hour as part of his $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief package.
It's puzzling that a modern democratic economy can accept such wage diversity! If they could move a few more workers into middle income levels, what a thriving economy the US would be!
