Hi TTT,
wanted to say I really enjoy your posts.
Re the Nasdaq, am I correct that all of the rise is really around the top 5 or 10 companies? Was apple new ATH at over $2.8 trillion usd overnight? My understanding is that the rest are rangebound or actually down already.
So if inflation did hit, what happens to those big players.
Google still used and dominant, maybe ad revenue declines as bad businesses curb ad spend? Could potentially ad the same for Facebook.
But for the providers, apple / MS / Intel etc etc, nah they wont drop by 40% IMO.
Organisations always initiate projects to increase efficiency and cut costs in bad economic environments, so they will look to suppliers to assist. Given IT is such a massive line on balance sheets these days Ive now doubt the better organisations will use it as an opportunity to thrive. APX has the same opportunity IMO and should have already been planning for this, but I dont believe the C level is up to it.
For the others below the top tier on the Nasdaq, you may well be right.
Cheers & GLAH
