no this is not dropping because "covid hasn't been kind". energy/oil is at 2020 feb highs already, and they are far more affected than appen. market is irrational in the short term, sentiment is everything. appen's sentiment is extremely bearish, in contrast to energy.
i agree dca on a down trend share isn't a good idea, but this isn't for short-medium term trades. to me these kind of companies i'm willing to dca on down trend.
