I can't confirm 100% that Apple is still Appen's client, but given Apple's ads relevance also needs similar treatment as compare to FB and Google, data labelling is also required by Apple.
So yea, if Apple is till Appen's client, then nothing is changed I suppose.
FYI, Apple's movement is to kill ads competitors and grow their own business.
