There are many elements that are now coming together for the Frugl business model.
The management team are now doubt focusing their attention on the technical aspects of the app and data development. That is the speciality area particularly for Alistair McCall the chief data officer having 18 year’s experience with major brands and agencies. Plus, they are using the latest Snowflake cloud -based technology – another good decision. The app continues to evolve in both speed and content. No doubt it will be an ongoing development incorporating all types of additional products and services. The platform for the app is very sound and responsive. Much too look forward to in terms of a data collection tool and service to the consumer.
It makes sense to engage an investor relations services organisation to facilitate the communication avenue to a targeted audience. These groups know how to focus the “right” people and thus speed up the process of opening doors for new business. Also, it assists with communication between Frugl and client.
Using a share allocation for corporate services and investors relations services makes business sense. This will preserve cash whilst the developmental process is undertaken prior to contracts being established. It is a clear pointer that they have great confidence in the Fruigl technology to appoint a investor relations firm to promote the company.
The commercial timeline outlines the intended milestones, and one must accept that variations to the plan will occur - as they do with any business plan. The important element is that a framework is in place clearly detailing the path ahead.
The path to profitability will be rapid as the business model is low on cost with a massive upside for revenue streams. No doubt as the technology becomes more sophisticated, additional retail groups and their product ranges will be incorporated into the app.
Frugl has 161 million shares on issue and 74% of these are held by insiders and the top twenty holders. Does not leave a lot for trading. So as the contracts roll out, the share price North will be rapid imo. There is nothing to hold it back.
There is another force at work here and that is getting a commercial result. The management team have experience in this space and their own credibility to deliver is now on the line. They have restructured the company (from the garbage they inherited from the NZ hotshot that disappeared back to his home base} and got the people in place to deliver.
Like you and from my experience in the world of business, this time round I think we are on a winner.
