EmpatKali AcquisitionOn 26 August 2020, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Group entered into a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) to acquire 100% of the shares outstanding from the founders (Founders) of PT Empat Kali Indonesia (EmpatKali). EmpatKali is a small, Singapore-based, buy now, pay later company operating in Indonesia. As part of the SPA, the Founders will receive a total of US$2m in consideration (subject to customary adjustments) payable in Afterpay Limited (APT) shares. The financial effects of this transaction have not been recognised at 30 June 2020. The operating results and assets and liabilities of EmpatKali will be consolidated following completion of the transaction. Completion of the acquisition is expected to occur before December 2020
