Like it wen u pop up JE...amuses me and provides a diff perspective to ponder.

Pls quote where someone has stated that Apple are falling over themselves for WBT or is that an "interpretation" or slight "embellishment" for effect?

Mayb u right on the other statement or mayb a diff political or conspiracy perspective is that by trying to obtain legal methods to have Apple unlock the ph as manufacturer of said ph, it thereby absolves the US Govt of 2 things...1. That they don't confirm to the gen public that they do actually have the capability as no doubt that would cause questions on other fronts and 2. That that don't then open a can of worms on the privacy front by doing it themselves.

As I said...u could b absolutely correct they don't have capability...me personally....I put my money on the "might of the US Intelligence Agencies" actually having the ability but politics more involved at this point.

Apple no doubt b enjoying the free advertising and moral ground for their customers whilst it's going on so unlikely they would freely unlock as well as that would open up similar questions of them re access and privacy....though in this day of people's fixation with social media....u can pretty much find out wot someone had for breakfast today if look hard enuf....lol
