I agree with you todays rate rise is priced in and the ASX will probably rally on the announcement, but that will be it's last rally before recession starts to really take hold and the housing market crashes destroying the "wealth" effect and discretionary spending.
Affirm will suffer as history tells us durable goods purchases fall off a cliff, but merchants will suffer declining sales and with most major banks and Apple ( Google to follow ) offering BNPL with no additional cost to merchants they have absolutely Zero need for Zip or APT.
Tge previously charged 6 or 7 percent margins will be decimated and cash transaction margins will be negative.
This business will be insolvent in 12 months.
