Do not agree with this at all. You're equating two things that are completely different.
"Downramping" as you call it, is just expressing a negative opinion about a company. I've been saying ZIP is a garbage company since it was $7, and I continue to say so and believe it will be insolvent by 2025.
What the guy in that article was doing was actually manipulating the market (likely a low cap illiquid stock), by actually pushing down the price through trading so that he could profit which is highly illegal. And then he boasted about it on HC.
