LMAO. CC were originally introduced as a generic store credit card accepted by multiple retailers.
The only businesses that still offer 'store' credit are trade suppliers. They have extremely rigorous credit checks and pass on fees.
BNPL cost a business up to 5x as much as a CC. The only case where it helps a business is driving high margin discretionary sales such as expensive beauty services and overpriced junk fashion. For nearly everybody else it is an intolerable burden (25-100% of gross margins)
If you open your eyes you will see the BNPL signs are disappearing from businesses because they don't create extra business. My dentist has a sign that they no longer accept APT.
