Sorry, but have you ever used this technology? Your talking about a range of 5cm and maybe 2m respectively.
As I've said I hope there's a place for xped. But their place will need to be with IOS, Android or the leading devices on the market.
I need to do more research on telelink and these apple rumors, but Intel are a nobody in this space at the moment. If you want to see the current status quo look at things like Phillips Hue and IFTTT
