I agree there is now probable connection with Intel which is now supplying at least some of the modems in the next iPhone.
Ther could be more connections coming. Apple would be aware of ADRC and the DEB browser. There is also their apparent admission they need a universal app for HomeKit.
I don't think a chip would be needed in the phone, as I understand it, the phone runs the DEB browser App, uses NFC to communicate with a device (or hub) which has the ADRC chip embedded.
My best guess is Apple might put an ADRC chip in their hub (to be announced??). There is a possibility it could be embedded the next Apple TV IMO. That would boost Apple TV's importance.
We'll see if anything is announced tonight!!!
Total guess there and probably off the mark.
Another possibility would be collaboration between Apple and Intel IOT platform.
Apple does like to go it alone though with their closed ecosystem which is the opposing force here IMO.
