Does anyone know how long Apple have been working on this AI Chip? It seems very left field since Peter has spent the last 10 years to get the only true HardWare based AI solution and its still has a few months to go until its rolled out. I know Apple have unlimited funds for R&D but how is it possible that they now all of a sudden have a hardware based solution? Seems odd to me. The only way they could have achieved this so quickly is if they had help from another company (hoping with every bone that its us)
