Here is an interesting paper written titled...
"The next SoC Design, Neuromorphic smart glasses".
Its about 4 pages long and pretty readable. It talks of the benefits of including neuromorphic SoC's in wearables especially glasses.

I have posted this because it provides a little fuel to fire that our product could/should be included in Apple's new VR headset, set to launch at the end of the year or any others that may follow.

For the time poor or the "can't be bothered reading it all" people I have just provided the abstract and conclusion.

    ABSTRACT
As Moore’s Law quickly approaches its physical limit, system-on-chip (SoC) architects are beginning to explore new design paradigms, such as the integration of various heterogenous hardware accelerators that improve energy efficiency of new SoCs. This is especially true for low-power spiking neural network (SNN) accelerators which are beginning to see their debut in commercial neuromorphic SoCs. This paper overviews the progression of neuromorphic SoC hardware and wearable computing over the past 20 years. We argue that SNN accelerators will be an important aspect of emerging smartglasses hardware due to their energy efficiency and we propose a novel smartglasses SoC design.

    5. Conclusions
In summary, the analysis presented in this paper reviewed the progression of neuromorphic SoC designs over the past 20 years. These chips have matured significantly and currently employ powerful features such as on-chip learning and network-style interconnects. We showed that there is a rising trend in wearable computing that was influenced in the early 2010s by the release of technologies such as the Pebble Watch, Apple Watch and Google Glass. Given the success of smartwatch technology in the last decade, we predicted that smartglasses will become the next enabler in HCI technology. Lastly, we proposed an SoC design that is likely to be featured in a novel smartglasses device that takes advantage of the low-power capabilities of neuromorphic computing. By utilizing neuromorphic computing, we argue that this SoC could combine the strengths of existing smartglasses technologies such as Microsoft’s HoloLens and North’s Focals.
