Even if it didn't (we most likely won't know until Apple's new product launches next month what company/ies they are aligned with), it's great that Apple are finally on board, as it will kick the NFC sector into overdrive.

The frustrating thing was that Apple hadn't come to the party, causing, at least here in Australia, CBA for example having to introduce their PayTag device (https://www.commbank.com.au/personal/online-banking/commbank-app/tap-and-pay.html).

Now that they have decided that the iPhone would be catching up to the balance of the smart phone world, specifically Android, at least we're going to see some action where deals will be done and the technology will be main stream sooner rather than later.

Exciting times ahead for those holders in TSN, definitely a "watch this space", the next quarter/six months are going to see some rapid development in this field in my view.
