    Oh I forgot you used cherries… - a tutti frutti spiced apple pie !
    And those spinach and feta pies were a family favourite - all the way through from buying to eating
    fun and easy to make too with the big raw pastry ‘tissues’ rolled up an ready by the side of the littlest cast iron pan melting its’ large knob of butter.
    Next the the ‘painting’ and draping across the baking dish then adding the other ingredients already mixed and ready, a splash of water to seal, sprinkle of sesame seeds and into the hot oven.

    Spinach onion and feta sounds good too.
    You could even go a filo homity pie with little potato cubes steamed then mashed with sauteed onion and garlic, a little milk and lots of fresh parsley plus plenty of grated cheddar cheese …. And morello cherries?
