Speaking for myself, I'm a sole trader taxed at the top marginal rate who uses BNPL to smooth my cash flow, APT's experience is substantially more integrated and convenient to use compared with the one time I used Zip. Indeed, the only time I used Zip because the item I was purchasing was above $1500. Once I saw that Zip was charging me a monthly account fee, I paid for the item in full and closed my account. The account fee annoyed me because, at the time at least, it was never disclosed except for in the T&Cs. It's a bit rich to claim "interest free" but then charge $10 for the same period during which APT would cost nothing.
