What I see from the article and Apple's challenge is that content is the magic ingredient in the equation. Obvioulsy it is a fragmented market out there and deals needs to be done one step at a time.
They probably dont come cheap, and what they have now is a start but we need to hear announcements on this front as mucg as possible. This will give them a true defensible competitive advantage.
This is the way forward here while the likes of Apple and Google focus on trying to court content suppliers who probably view them as competitors or threats to revenue.
