No, didn't think it appropriate. Didn't want to put Dave in the position of circumventing - or appear to be circumventing - the ASX by way of a bit of hand holding. No point in poking the bear.
It is what it is, so let's just wait and see. It'll either come after the close - Dave's oft-stated preference for announcements - or first thing tommorrow. Hopefully not a further extension!
Either way, it's not going to alter the content. Dave's a smart operator. Pretty sure he understands what's at stake and will do everything in his power to give the ASX what it wants - clarity - from there get on with building the business.
Reading between the lines of some SM comments, that's what's happening right now - business as usual.
If there is a knee-jerk from the market - wouldn't surprise me if there is, would be easy to have a crack at this if you were so inclined - I will view it as an opportunity. Fundamentally, nothing has changed for Buddy's outlook in 2018 and beyond.
