Face ID is the future of Apple devices and will only become more mainstream.
Unlike the inferior S8, this device learns and adapts to different lighting, clothing, scenes etc. They mentioned it is a lot more accurate and secure than a persons fingerprint.
Apple also demonstrated the front facing camera with different real time photo effects and it looks very impressive. With ePat now having access to the full software kit of nViso along with the new iPhones, I can only see the reliability and machine learning capacity of ePat improving.
