I usually get basic fruit & veg from Aldi unless there's something particular I want or I can get it from a farm.
So usually Ive been eating Royal Gala apples. Quite good. One has to accept that the days of red & golden Delicious or Jonathan are long gone.
But I've been intrigued by this "variety" they've had for ages just labelled "Red Apples".
I can see that, I'm thinking, but can't you at least put the variety on them.
I think they've also got some labelled Green Apples, not Granny Smith or something.
Could it be for the colour blind? Maybe.
I'd ask the check out person but I don't think it's in their programming code:
