Interesting, however, what I observe is that an entity, such as UBS, also algorithmically buying and selling to itself quasi randomly in order to disguise its true holistic intent (whether to accumulate or distribute shares). It's hard to imagine a way to outmaneuver deep pockets and an algorithm engaging in such activities, except, of course, by choosing not to participate in the game, particularly with a selfwealth account.
