But I do have to report on another nube-move on my behalf, which might just help others:
Having not read the fine (er... not so fine) print on my Commsec orders, I didn't realise that they (Commsec) automatically skim the 1c exercise fee out of my trading account to pay for any EXTRA rights which I have purchased on market through them.
So it turns out that I've paid twice to exercise some of these Rights... which just means I've paid even more shortfall application money than I anticipated .

I couldn't work out where all my dosh was disappearing to, and had to crunch the numbers of a few times until the penny dropped.
