In most of the cases Directors are nominated by Brokers, by institutional Shareholders and I can understand, that those people with the big money wants to have a person at the board whom they can trust. Or is it more? Influence from the big? Orders from the big?

Why is there no idea realized to apply a Director for "private Shareholders"? Private Shareholders are for a company as important as institutional investors but very often, private investors are treated badly. GFC has shown, that companies, who had more institutional shareholders than private shareholders fell more than others. This I've learnt from the financial crisis (among other facts)

Wouldn't it an idea bringing all the interests from private investors and institutional investors together?

It was already said here, these are public companies and no ones farm!
