APPOINTMENT OF MARKETING MANAGER
FOR WONARAH PHOSPHATE PROJECT

�� Mr Michael Erwin has been appointed to join Minemakers as its
General Manager - Marketing.
�� His prime role will be the securing of marketing contracts for
Wonarah Phosphate.
�� He has very appropriate international experience in marketing and
shipping with direct experience in phosphate rock and sulphuric
acid and in dealing with fertiliser companies.
Mr Michael Erwin has agreed to take up the position of General Manager - Marketing,
effective from 15 December 2008.
He will be re-locating to Perth from Tauranga, New Zealand where he has been the owner of
a commodity trading business which included the supply of rock phosphate to New Zealand
fertiliser plants and supply of sulphuric acid required for fertiliser plants throughout Asia. Mr
Erwin also has substantial experience of shipping matters gained from operating his own
business and previous positions held with major organisations. .
Minemakers advises that the results of its ongoing chemical and metallurgical testwork of
Wonarah rock phosphate has been encouraging, with likely marketable product
specifications being met to date.

MICHAEL ERWIN CAREER SUMMARY
2008 – 1998 Owner of Globespan Ltd in New Zealand, a commodity agency business. It
traded bulk sulphuric acid and also mining chemicals and trace elements, to
the fertiliser manufacturing bases. Supply sourcing and sales contracts of
rock phosphate into New Zealand.
1998 – 1997 Managing Director of a joint venture between chemical shipping companies.
1997 – 1994 General Manager for a Japanese bulk liquid shipping and transport company.
1994 – 1992 Shipping and tanker freight management.
