It is hard to get a feel for the calibre of Michael Erwin from the little that is said in that announcement. Hopefully though he will prove to be a valuable recruit.
Before owning Globespan, his previous 3 positions were only of 2 years duration each. They don't give the names of the organisations he worked for.
Was Globespan sold or wound up? Maybe it was a lot of work for little return and he has decided to go back to being an employee. Who knows. I did a quick Google but didn't find out much about Globespan.
