John is a mining engineer, whose first 20 years of professional experience was obtained as a mining company employee, rising through the ranks from machine miner to the level of General Manager Operations. His experience spans both surface and underground mining applications in the hard rock, metalliferous field, where he holds current Mine Management Certificates of Competency (1st Class). He has consulted on a full time basis since the early 1990’s in most fields of mining engineering, but principally project feasibility, operations management, mine design and valuation, technical audits, merger and acquisitions, corporate advice and expert witness work. Assignments worldwide have included temperate, arctic, high altitude and tropical locations, whether high rainfall or arid.
