I would not be comfortable if I were in their shoes. Once someone has posted actionable material on Hot Copper ,the die has ben cast and, as the old saying goes, what's done cannot be undone.

They have been very stupid to compromise themselves and leave themselves open to legal action.

There have been enough warnings on Hot Copper that a nom de plume is no guarantee of immunity and that, should the Court so order, the poster's identity must be disclosed.

You would have thought they would have had enough brains not to incriminate themselves.
