From my understanding of EGR they are not focused on recycling batteries for graphite but recycling graphite material that doesnt meet standards during production and is considered waste and then breaking that down and processing it back into spherical graphite.
They like to say its recycling which it is, but not as most would think recycling batteries.
Recycled battery metals lithium, coblat, nickle wont have commercial quantities untill 2030. Recycling 'used' anode and putting it back in a battery just doesnt seem feasible at this point.
